Office of Residence Life: Finding Home at Northwest Missouri State University

The Office of Residence Life helps students find their place in the Bearcat community. On the Maryville campus, residence halls bring students closer to classes, campus activities, and one another, with resident assistants and staff providing support as they settle into college life.

Through hall events, shared gathering spaces, and Living Learning Communities in Agricultural Sciences and Elementary Education, Residence Life creates opportunities for friendships and academic connections to grow. Those everyday experiences become part of what students and their families celebrate when a degree is earned.

Office of Residence Life and Scholar Frames: Remembering the Bearcat Experience

Scholar Frames partners with the Office of Residence Life to help graduates and families recognize the achievement that follows those years of learning and connection. Through this partnership, the Northwest Missouri State University diploma frames collection gives families a school-connected way to celebrate their graduate.

For students whose college experience included finding friends down the hall or studying alongside fellow residents, a displayed diploma can recall more than completed coursework. The Office of Residence Life’s partnership helps families honor that broader journey, with a reminder of accomplishment and belonging that remains meaningful beyond graduation day.

Together, Scholar Frames and the Office of Residence Life help Northwest graduates and families celebrate an earned degree and the Bearcat community that helped shape the experience.
